Classes:

Northern Heroes (formerly known as beginners)

The emphasis of our programme is the development and enhancement of agility, balance, and strength while teaching the basics of the sport of gymnastics.  The Northern Hero’s programmes are offered 6 sessions per year (school half terms) We also offer half day camps in the 6 weeks Summer Holidays as well as open drop-in sessions during this time.  There will be regular awards in each session including the star of the week certificate and the progressive proficiency award scheme of which they can purchase British Gymnastics accredited certificates and woven badges.

Our class time are as follows:

Weeknight: Monday to Friday 16:00 to 17:00.

Sundays: 09:30 to 10:30, 10:30 to 11:30, 11:30 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 14:30.

Pre-School Classes

These sessions are structured and are for 45 minutes. We start with hand apparatus learning positional language skills and body parts, then we have a story to which the gymnasts are encouraged to do pre-gymnastics activities as a warm up. They then go onto the apparatus learning basic gymnastics skills such as forward rolls, backward rolls, pre-cartwheels etc. They have a 5 minute free play where they can explore the large equipment with the parents and coach. We finish the session off with parachute and bubbles.

Our class time are as follows:

Wednesdays: 14:00 to 14:45.

Fridays: 10:30 to 11:15

These sessions are 'drop-in' so no need to book, and cost £5.00 per child

My Club

Young Gymnast

These sessions are for young teens who are between 12 and 18 years old who either want to start gymnastics or learn new skills for dancers etc.

Our class time are as follows:

Saturday: 16:00 to 17:00

These sessions are 'drop-in' so no need to book, and cost £5.00

Adult Gymnastics

These sessions are for adults aged 18 years old who either want to start gymnastics or learn new skills.
